How to Consistently Create Engaging Content!

Creating content is very important for online businesses. Your content is how you connect with your audience and should be created on a consistent basis. Being consistent in your business, builds trust with your audience. The more they see the value that you are providing, the more comfortable they will be with your business. They will begin to engage and will eventually do business with you.

Complete the following step to create engaging content consistently.  

 Create content categories. These categories will help you stay focused and will be the foundation for your content. They need to be created according to what type of information you want to consistently provide to your audience. Some examples of categories for a clothing stylist would be Outfit of the Day (#OOTD), Capsule Wardrobes, New this Season, etc. When creating your categories, keep them simple enough for your audience to understand.

 Create your content calendar. Start your content calendar by adding all the holidays and important business events. Themed weeks such as launch weeks or challenges can be included to boost engagement. During themed weeks, you can talk about the same content across all your different content platforms. Create valuable content around those days and events. Always at remember to add a Call-to-Action (CTA) telling your audience what they should do next after reading your content.

 Batch create your content. Batch creating content means creating all the same types of content at once. You can schedule certain days to work on certain pieces of content. All blogs on one day or all podcasts on another. I found that once I was in a certain headspace it is easier for me to just keep moving forward to create all content. I typical sit and create a month’s worth of content at a time. By creating a month’s worth of content, I am able to really focus on my clients, researching new content ideas and creating new products.

 Schedule your content: Once your content has been created, it is now time to schedule your content to auto post. Auto posting will save time and help alleviate the stress of day to day posting.

 Follow up and engage with your audience. The most important is to follow up on your content and respond to all your comments. I respect and appreciate every comment that I receive and make a point to respond to let my audience know how much I appreciate them.
