True Life: A Mindset Must for Creating a Successful Brand
If you have come across this post, you are probably thinking of starting a new business or you already have a business and you need some growth tips. First, congrats to you for pushing through your what-ifs and DECIDING to follow your dreams! That is a HUGE accomplishment (Insert happy dance and virtual confetti ☺️🎉🎊)! Being successful in any part of your life requires you to believe in your abilities and what you have to offer.
There is a true feeling of accomplishment that you get when you are able to physically see a project come to life that was once only an idea in your mind. You have strategized and executed this idea to perfection. (High Five Babe) I don’t know about you but in the past when I completed a project, it felt like I just birthed a new baby into the world. And I don’t play about my babies. I quickly learned that was NOT the way to think about my new amazing product.
My first product launch left me feeling incapable and rejected. Like an episode of Mean Girls only virtual. Overly dramatic, right? Inserts my solution to feeling inadequate: change my perspective! Seems simple but takes work to accomplish. Keep this in your memory bank. A no to your product is not a no to your character. You must separate yourself from your business.
I know I always say you are your brand meaning you brand look, tone and mission is a representation of your style, voice and values. But your product success is not a representation of your character. A product failure does not mean you are a failure personally.
If your product/service does not produce as expected, it could be a problem with your positioning or marketing. It is not a representation of your ability to create amazingness that will help solve your client’s problems. Do your research on your target audience and their needs to see what tweaks you can make to reach them.
So, it’s time to exhale beautiful! Get back in the game and start producing those much-needed products that will change the world one client at a time (or maybe a group ☺️).
