I Couldn't Focus Without My Notes App

DISCLAIMER: I am an Apple product user to the death of me! ☺️ I do not know an equivalent Android app for Notes but if you do, please feel free to leave it in the comments below. I will update my post to include it (and give you credit) when I receive it. 

Apple Notes is an amazing app for jotting down quick ideas and creating content for my business on the go. I put everything in my Notes app because I can edit it across all my Apple devices (iMac, MacBook, iPad and iPhone). This is pure awesomeness and makes me smile on the inside! ☺️

When creating my content calendar, I start mapping out my plan using my content creator system. My content creator system is a notebook that houses all my content ideas for my upcoming blog, social media and podcast content. I typically do content research on Monday’s for the following week. I try to stay a week ahead because issues may come up but my content will be scheduled in advance to business allow my business to keep going. 

Back to Notes! After I have an idea of what I will create, I set it up in Notes! I typically create 4-5 blogs posts a month. I will name my Note “BLOG POSTS: May 2019”. Next I think of all the titles of my blogs for the month in bold and enter each of them in the note with the date and title as “00/00 BLOG: Title Name”.  Next up is actually writing the blogs. 

This is the amazingness I mentioned earlier. My mom could call with an emergency, my daughter can call because she needs me to go somewhere with her. These could be issues but because I have my work available on my phone, I can continue with writing all my posts. And knocking that off my to-do for the day!

Now I am also the one that believes in working from anywhere and I alway have my laptop and hotspot for when I need to create graphics or update websites while I’m on the go. 🤷🏾‍♀️

My social media and podcast outlines are also entered in the same way. This is a major productive hack for me and my business. Hopefully this has given you a way to be more productive as well.
